Encourage the waste management company and other MMC partners in your local community to monitor and verify the amount of separately collected used beverage cartons

In cooperation with the waste management company and other partners of your MMC:

• Encourage residents and public institutions to handle used beverage cartons properly and to dispose of them separately in appropriate waste bins,
• monitor and publish the results and effects of your municipal material cycle,
• inform and raise awareness in the population about the correct handling of used beverage cartons,
• occasionally publicly praise and highlight the most active stakeholders and/or individuals in the local community of your MMC,
• become a user of hygiene paper for which you have provided the raw materials in the local community and encourage other public companies and organizations (schools, libraries, others) to join the network of users.

Become a pioneer of the circular economy and join the first municipalities that have already implemented it.

MUNICIPAL WASTE MANAGEMENT COMPANY

Being the carrier of municipal waste management, this is also the driving force of the MMC in the local community. It works with the municipality and the TBS, and encourages institutions and residents to consistently separate used beverage cartons.

In cooperation with the waste management company and other partners of your MMC:

• Encourage residents and public institutions to handle used beverage cartons properly and to dispose of them separately in appropriate waste bins,
• monitor and publish the results and effects of your municipal material cycle,
• inform and raise awareness in the population about the correct handling of used beverage cartons,
• occasionally publicly praise and highlight the most active members in the local community,
• encourage public companies and organizations (schools, libraries, others) to join the network of users of the hygiene paper for which they have provided the raw materials.

The Monitor amount of separately collected used beverage cartons in your area and connect with the municipality and TBS to achieve the maximum effects.

TAKE-BACK SYSTEMS / TBS

Paper manufacturers obtain high-quality cellulose from the cardboard part of the used beverage cartons and use it as an input raw material for the production of recycled hygiene paper.

In cooperation with the waste management company:

• monitor the amount of separately collected used beverage cartons in the local community and the amount
  recycled,
• ensure the separation and regular removal of packaging for recycling and processing in the MMC area,
• participate in informing and raising the awareness of institutions and the population about the consistent
  separation of used beverage cartons and their recycling.

Become involved in several material cycles, present good practices and experiences, and encourage other local communities to form their own MMCs.

PAPER MANUFACTURER

Paper manufacturers obtain high-quality cellulose from the cardboard part of the used beverage cartons and use it as an input raw material for the production of recycled hygiene paper

The paper manufacturer makes sure that:

• the used beverage carton recycling procedures are carried out in accordance with all the prescribed
  quality standards,
• they produce hygiene paper that is completely comparable in quality to that made of virgin cellulose,
• the new recycled products meet all health and environmental standards.

PROFESSIONAL FACILITY HYGIENE PRODUCTS DISTRIBUTION COMPANY

Ensures that the agreed amount of hygiene paper is delivered to the users in a timely manner.

Encourage public companies and organizations (schools, libraries, others) to join the network of users of the hygiene paper for which they have provided the raw materials.

USERS OF RECYCLED PAPER

Municipal companies and institutions (schools, kindergartens, libraries, municipal offices, etc.) that decide to start using recycled hygiene paper from their own material cycle, are those that actually close a municipal material cycle.

Make sure, to:

• dispose of the used beverage cartons in the appropriate waste bin, as directed by the municipal waste
  management company
• in form and raise awareness about involvement in the MMC with your employees, visitors to your
  institution and residents.
